“The advancement and diffusion of knowledge is the only guardian of true liberty.”
— James Madison

Jamie Koch

Rooted in truth.  Rising for Colorado.

Colorado is a place worth fighting for.  Families come here for opportunity, beauty, freedom, and a better life, but those foundations are being shaken.  I’m running because I believe our state can once again be a place where parents are respected, communities are safe, and hard work is rewarded.  My heart is for people.  My passion is to protect what matters most.  And my commitment is to stand for the values that make Colorado strong, resilient, and full of hope.

These are the issues I’m fighting for and the solutions I believe will help our families and our future thrive.

Protecting Our Children and Parental Rights

Every parent has the God-given responsibility to raise their children, and no government should ever interfere with that sacred role.  Yet across Colorado, policies are pushing parents aside, injecting ideology into the classroom, shutting down parental involvement, and replacing families with state-driven agendas.

I’m standing with parents because children thrive when families, not bureaucrats, guide their values, education, and future.

My Commitment:

  • Support full transparency in curriculum

  • Protect parental rights in education, healthcare, and decision-making

  • Ensure classrooms teach truth, critical thinking, and real academics, not ideology

  • Empower families, teachers, and local communities over activist-driven mandates

Colorado’s children deserve an education that prepares them for life. not one that divides them, confuses them, or hides information from parents.

Restoring
Law, Order, and Justice

Colorado’s natural beauty and strong communities should never be overshadowed by crime, drugs, and lawlessness.  But when leaders minimize accountability and prioritize offenders over victims, families pay the price.

Justice should actually mean justice.  Every Coloradan deserves to feel safe at home, at work, and in their neighborhood.

Recent analysis from the Pew Research Center and the Migration Policy Institute show that Colorado’s estimated illegal‑immigrant population ranges from around 200,000 to as high as 230,000, up from about 160,000 in 2021.  Those living in the state without legal authorization are breaking our laws, and this underscores the importance of enforcing immigration laws to keep our communities safe.

My Commitment:

  • Support law enforcement with training, tools, and strong partnerships

  • Restore accountability for violent and repeat offenders

  • Enforce immigration laws effectively

  • Prioritize victims and communities by enforcing real consequences for drug crime

  • Protect families, businesses, and communities, not criminals

Safety isn’t a partisan issue; it’s a basic right.  And Colorado deserves leaders who will defend it.

Fighting for
Fiscal Responsibility

Coloradans are working harder than ever, yet they’re bringing home less.  Families feel the squeeze every time they buy groceries, pay a utility bill, or fill the gas tank.  Hidden fees, tax increases, wasteful programs, and government expansion have made Colorado less affordable and families like mine have felt the strain.

Stewardship isn’t just a financial principle, it’s a moral one.  Government must handle resources with wisdom and integrity.

My commitment:

  • Cut wasteful spending and restore transparency

  • End “fees” used to bypass the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights

  • Support policies that lower the cost of living

  • Prioritize taxpayers, small businesses, and working families

Your paycheck should work for your family, not for an irresponsible state budget.

Defending the Sanctity of Life and Upholding Human Dignity

Colorado has become known across the nation as one of the most permissive states for abortion.  The numbers reflect that tragic reality.  In 2023 alone, the most recent year with verified statewide data, Colorado reported 14,691 abortions, the highest number in nearly four decades.  This should grieve us.  Every one of those numbers represents a precious life with God-given value and purpose.

Colorado can do better.

We can be a state that protects the unborn, supports women, and upholds human dignity; not a state known as an abortion destination.

My commitment:

  • Promote life-affirming policies that protect unborn children

  • Strengthen support, resources, and community care for women in crisis

  • Promote adoption, foster care reform, and family-centered solutions

  • Build a culture where both mother and child can thrive

Hope, not despair, should define our state.  Life deserves protection, dignity, and a future.

Protecting Constitutional Freedoms

Freedom is not granted by government; it is endowed by God.

Our freedom of speech, freedom of worship, the right to live according to conscience, and the right to keep and bear arms are fundamental protections, not privileges to be rationed by the state.

Yet in recent years, we’ve watched leaders twist laws, weaponize policy, silence dissent, and steadily undermine the very Constitution they swore to uphold, including clear encroachments on First and Second Amendment rights that leave law-abiding citizens less free and less safe.

Protecting freedom isn’t optional. It’s essential.

My commitment:

  • Defend First Amendment freedoms for every Coloradan

  • Uphold the God-given right to obey conscience and live according to moral truth

  • Defend the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding citizens

  • Push back against government overreach into homes, businesses, and communities

  • Restore transparency, accountability, and constitutional integrity

When we protect freedom, we protect the future for our families and for generations to come.
